It’s show season – and we are heading to Atlanta for the first time

The 2025 rut is imminent, and it is the most exciting time of year – In Claire’s words “As we near a new hunting season we already see substantial growth across the four deer species throughout the estate. It has been a mix of temperate weather conditions and the excellent growth of what the animals forage, both promoting thick and heavy timber, glossy backs and currently settled bachelor groups up high in the hills.”

Spine-tingling, the Red Rut is a great time to combine hunting with fishing for Rainbow and Brown trout in the remote, gin-clear waters surrounding our property. The team can assist in designing the best itinerary, as well as include some additional experiences to make the most of your Poronui visit, both for hunters and non-hunters alike.
