The Poronui team of horses are New Zealand station bred. They are chosen for their temperament, steady gait and sure footedness. Kept fit and well-schooled in all disciplines, they ensure a fun ride for all. There is nothing more exhilarating than a gallop over the hills for the experienced rider!
Our professional guides come with extensive experience in schooling young horses, ponies, competing and instructing. They know the property intimately, are passionate about the outdoors and have in-depth knowledge of New Zealand flora, fauna and local history.
We have horses and treks to suit all levels of expertise from the introductory ride for a beginner to the fast hill rides for more advanced riders.
